Real medicine, unhurried
Primary care for every age, medical weight loss, hormone therapy and IV therapy from the board-certified nurse practitioners voted best in Northern Utah.
Care for the whole of you
Plain-English medicine in West Haven: what it is, why it helps, and an honest conversation before anything begins.

Primary Care
Family medicine for every age, newborns to seniors. Checkups, sick visits and long-term health with providers who know your name.
A regular provider who knows your history, for the whole family, from newborns to seniors.
New family visit $120 · Returning visit $95
What to expect
Visits are scheduled with enough time to actually talk. That covers annual physicals and well-child checks, sick visits, chronic condition management, medication review, lab work and referrals when something needs a specialist. You see the same small team each time, which is the entire point of having one.
Good to know
Kameo is a small clinic, so the provider who sees you today is likely the provider who sees you next year. Appointments run weekdays, morning and afternoon, plus Saturday by appointment. Call for availability, insurance questions and whether what you need can be handled by phone.
For a medical emergency call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. This page is general information and is not medical advice.

Medical Weight Loss
A structured program built on real medicine: labs, nutrition, exercise and behavioral support, tracked visit to visit.
A provider-directed program built on labs, nutrition and regular follow-up rather than on a product.
Visit $95 · Semaglutide $250 · Mounjaro $360
What to expect
The first visit is an evaluation: your history, your current medications, your goals and lab work. From there your provider builds a plan that may include nutrition and activity guidance, behavioral support, and prescription medication where it is clinically appropriate for you. You come back on a schedule so the plan can be adjusted based on what is actually happening.
Good to know
Medication is one tool inside the plan, not the plan itself. Which one, if any, depends on your labs, your history and your coverage, and your provider will walk you through the real options including what they cost. Insurance may cover qualifying weight loss visits, so ask when you call.
Results vary and no outcome is guaranteed. Weight loss medications carry risks and are not appropriate for everyone. Some medications used in weight management are compounded, which means they are prepared by a licensed pharmacy for an individual patient and are not FDA approved products. Your provider will tell you which is which before anything is prescribed.

Hormone Replacement
When energy, sleep or mood slips, labs and provider guidance find what is actually off and treat it properly.
Starts with labs, because guessing at hormones is how people lose a year.
$95 per visit
What to expect
Your provider takes a full history of your symptoms, orders the relevant blood work and reviews the results with you in plain language. If treatment is appropriate you will discuss the available forms, how they are monitored and what follow-up looks like. Repeat labs are part of the process, not an add-on.
Good to know
Sometimes the labs point somewhere else entirely, to thyroid, sleep, iron or something that needs a different workup, and you will be told that honestly rather than treated anyway. When hormone therapy is right for you, the goal is the lowest effective approach with real monitoring behind it.
Hormone therapy carries risks that depend on your age, your history and the specific therapy, and your provider will review them with you. Some hormone preparations are compounded, which means they are prepared by a licensed pharmacy for an individual patient, are not FDA approved, and have not been evaluated by FDA for safety or effectiveness.

IV Infusion Therapy
Hydration and vitamins delivered where your body can use them, for energy, immune support and recovery.
Fluids and nutrients given intravenously in a comfortable chair, under the supervision of a nurse practitioner.
$150
What to expect
You are assessed first, because not every person and not every formulation is a fit. Once your provider approves a blend, a nurse places the IV and the infusion runs roughly thirty to sixty minutes depending on volume. You can read, work or nap. Most people go straight back to their day afterward.
Good to know
Being seen by a medical provider is the difference between an IV in a clinic and an IV at a party. Your provider will tell you when hydration and rest would do the same job for free, and will tell you when what you are describing needs a real workup instead of a drip.
IV therapy is not a treatment for any disease and is not a substitute for medical care. Infusion formulations are compounded preparations, prepared by a licensed pharmacy and not FDA approved. Individual responses vary, and your provider will review the risks with you.

Vitamin Injections
Quick B12 and lipo shots administered by nurse practitioners. In and out on a lunch break, no downtime.
Quick intramuscular injections given by a nurse practitioner, in and out on a lunch break.
B12, D, Tri-Immune and Lipo $25 · NAD+ $30
What to expect
You will be asked what you are already taking and why. If an injection is appropriate it is given in the arm or hip, and the visit is genuinely short, usually a few minutes. There is no downtime. Some people come in on a set schedule, others come occasionally.
Good to know
Kameo offers B12, lipotropic B and D injections and allergy injections. Whether an injection helps you depends on whether you are actually low, which is a lab question. Ask your provider about testing rather than assuming.
Vitamin injections are not a treatment for any disease. Lipotropic injections are compounded preparations, prepared by a licensed pharmacy for an individual patient and not FDA approved. Individual results vary.

PRF Joint Injections
Your own platelet-rich fibrin, prepared in clinic and used to support joints that ache.
Uses platelet rich fibrin prepared from your own blood. No donor material, nothing added.
$240
What to expect
A small blood draw is taken and spun in a centrifuge in the clinic. Your provider then injects the concentrate into the joint being treated. The visit generally runs about an hour. Expect some soreness in the joint for a few days, and plan to take it easy immediately afterward rather than testing it.
Good to know
This is usually discussed as one option among several, alongside physical therapy, activity changes, imaging and referral for orthopedic evaluation. Your provider will be straight with you about where the evidence is strong and where it is still developing.
Results vary and PRF is not a guaranteed treatment for joint pain. Your provider will discuss the expected benefits, the known risks and the alternatives, including doing nothing, before you consent.

Sclerotherapy
An injection treatment used to fade the look of spider veins.
An injection treatment used to fade small surface veins on the legs.
What to expect
Your provider injects a solution directly into the vein through a very fine needle. Several veins are usually treated in one sitting, and a session runs fifteen to forty-five minutes depending on the area. Compression stockings are typically worn afterward. You walk out and you keep walking, because movement is encouraged.
Good to know
Veins fade over weeks, not overnight, and more than one session is common. Bruising and temporary darkening along the treated vein are normal. Larger varicose veins may need a vascular evaluation instead, and your provider will tell you if that is the case.
Results vary and multiple sessions may be needed. Sclerotherapy is not appropriate for everyone, including during pregnancy. Your provider will review your history and the known risks with you first.

Peptide Therapy
Provider-guided peptide options to support recovery and wellness, explained without the hype.
Prescription peptide options discussed with a provider, explained without the hype that surrounds them online.
What to expect
This starts as a conversation about what you are hoping to change and what you have already tried. Your provider reviews your history and current medications, explains which peptides are available to prescribe and what is actually known about them, and orders labs where they are relevant. If a peptide is prescribed you will be shown exactly how to use it and when to follow up.
Good to know
Peptides are one of the most oversold categories in wellness right now. What you will get here is a candid read on the evidence, including where it is thin, and a clear no when a peptide is not the right answer for what you are describing.
Peptides prescribed here are compounded preparations. Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed pharmacy for an individual patient, are not FDA approved, and have not been evaluated by FDA for safety or effectiveness. They are not a treatment for any disease. Individual results vary.

Stem Cell Therapy
Ask our providers whether regenerative options are a fit for your plan. Honest answers first.
A conversation with a provider about whether regenerative options belong anywhere in your plan.
What to expect
There is no treatment being advertised here. If you ask about regenerative therapies, our providers will walk you through what these products actually are, what is and is not established about them, what FDA has and has not approved, and what the realistic alternatives are for your situation. A number of those conversations end with a recommendation for something else entirely.
Good to know
This is an area where marketing has run a long way ahead of the evidence, and where patients are routinely charged a great deal of money on the strength of claims that do not hold up. We would rather be the clinic that tells you that than the clinic that takes the payment.
No regenerative therapy is represented here as approved, proven or effective for any condition or disease. Ask your provider directly about what is available, what it costs and what the evidence supports before you make any decision.

Medical Cannabis
Private Utah medical cannabis card evaluations with a licensed provider, handled without judgment.
An evaluation for a Utah Medical Cannabis Card, in a private, unhurried visit with a licensed provider.
Card evaluation $100
What to expect
Your provider reviews your history and whether you have a qualifying condition under the Utah Medical Cannabis Act. If a recommendation is appropriate, they enter it in the state system so you can complete your card application. The conversation is private, and you will get an honest read on whether this is the right path for you.
Good to know
The card is issued by the state of Utah, not by the clinic, and the provider evaluation is one required step. You finish the application and pay the state fee through Utah's Electronic Verification System, and medical cannabis itself is purchased only through state licensed pharmacies. Bring a current medication list to your visit.
Eligibility is determined under the Utah Medical Cannabis Act and requires a qualifying condition. Cards are issued by the state of Utah, and Kameo does not sell or dispense cannabis. This is general information, not medical advice.
Also ask about women's health visits and allergy shots. Not sure where to start? One call points you to the right visit.
